Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County thanks the NY Islanders!
The Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County would like to extend a huge thank you to the NY Islanders and their “Hockey with a Heart” program! At the March 24th game, CP Nassau had the honor of being featured as the “Charity of the Game.” Bob McGuire, our Executive Director, accompanied by Kevin Christman from our Life Options program got a chance to tell the fans about our Agency. Another program participant, Tricia Pikul, had the thrill of being the honorary flag bearer at the game! CP Nassau is the beneficiary of a portion of the proceeds from the amazing 50/50 raffle held that evening! The whole community relations staff from the Islanders helped CP Nassau staff and volunteers from the Sigma lot Sigma sorority at Stony Brook university cover the stunning UBS Arena and sell raffles to the great and generous Islander fans! The Islanders were victorious and we all felt like winners thanks to the amazing and caring hearts of all the NY Islanders organization and fans!
THANK YOU ALL FOR HELPING MAKE A DIFFERENCE
AT CP NASSAU!
