Each year, the Cerebral Palsy Associations of New York State present an art show during the annual conference. Each of the 24 affiliates is invited to submit the work of one artist from their organization. This year our artist is Maria Arriaga. She is a member of the Life Options program at CP Nassau and works with Art Therapist, Samantha Hasher.
The title of Maria’s art is “ Love and Friendship.” Maria is a happy, upbeat person who enjoys her participation here at CP Nassau. To quote this talented and enthusiastic artist, “I love my friends, family and program staff. I hope that my paintings make people happy and bring light into their lives. I love painting. It is fun and makes me feel happy.”
The conference will take place at the end of October in Saratoga, NY.
