The Council of Auxiliaries of the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County held their annual Holiday Angel Luncheon at CP Nassau’s headquarters in Roosevelt on December 10.

Council President, MaryLou Zizzo and Rachel Gaudiosi of the Plainedge Chapter spoke to guests. Treasurer of the Council, AnnaMaria Impagliazzo was very happy to accept a check for $30,000 from Rachel tat was raised by the Plainedge Council.

It was wonderful to have the Children’s Learning Center Chorus join all at the event as they entertained with a variety of holiday favorite songs. Such joy in that room!

Over 150 wrapped gifts were on display at the event that were picked up later in the afternoon by the social work team at the Agency. These were gifts for children and adults that were identified as individuals who would benefit from some special holiday giving. All at CP Nassau are so grateful to all the people who participated in the “Holiday Angel” campaign and purchased and wrapped gifts. Your efforts will certainly make many people very happy and your caring and generosity is so appreciated by all.

The spirit of the holidays was so evident and celebrated at the event that is a year-end reminder of all the amazing things the Auxiliary members and members of the Nassau County Homemakers do to help out at CP Nassau and make life brighter for the people we assist.
