August Job Fair at CP Nassau Welcomes Many Potential Candidates
CP Nassau recently held a job fair on Monday, August 21, 2023. The job fair featured opportunities from nearly every department — Residential Services, Adult Day Services, Medical, the School, Maintenance,
and more.
While some participants were searching for positions with a need for a specific skill or experience, others were present to see what’s available and to expand their horizons. Christine Izzo, Assistant Principal at the Children’s Learning Center, shared that job fairs have been the source of plenty of success for the school. Many of their hires come directly from job fair applications. “Monday’s job fair went very well,” Christine, said. “I interviewed four candidates for the Educational Assistant position and one Teaching Assistant. It was a big success.”
