Bringing JOY to CP Bayville

The Plainedge Council of Auxiliaries worked on a project to bring joy to the residents of CP Bayville, and they certainly succeeded!  The ladies worked to put 48 pairs of socks rolled up into colorful plastic eggs with a card on each with the name of the resident as a celebration of Spring and Easter.  They created a large basket for the girls and one for the guys that they decorated.  The basket was delivered by volunteers and parents, Willy and Geri Von Thaden.  Lois Boyle and Cathy Lupo were the Auxiliary members who gathered all the decorations and supplies.  Steven Alvarez, a manager at CP Bayville said that the residents truly enjoyed this special gift and it made them so happy, there were smiles abounding!  Geri Von Thaden said the Auxiliary was so happy to do this for the CP Bayville residents and were thrilled that their simple gesture brought such happiness.
