CP Nassau 5K Walk, Run, Roll, Stroll Generous SPONSORS
The CP Nassau Walk, Run, Roll, Stroll was held at Eisenhower Park on Saturday, Nov 20. The sun was shining, the air was brisk and smiles and enthusiasm were everywhere! Thank you to all participants for doing the 5K and for all the funds raised! Thank you to the people who supported walkers, runners, rollers and strollers with donations! Thank you to our SPONSORS! A shout to our great volunteers! The generosity of all involved is noticed and greatly appreciated.
At this writing, the 5K has raised over $63,000! The funds raised will go towards health and wellness efforts at the Agency. That will include some MOVE equipment for children and adults. MOVE stands for MOBILITY OPPORTUNITIES VIA EDUCATION and this program is helping children and adults who usually require a wheelchair to stand and take steps. It is just one of the amazing programs at CP Nassau that is making a difference!
