Jovia Brightens Things UP at CP Nassau

Blog, Community, In the News

A team of staffers form Jovia Financial Credit Union volunteered at three residences operated by the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau County.   The teams went to homes in Freeport, Wantagh and Seaford and painted the walls throughout.  The residents of the homes, all adults with developmental disabilities, were at their programs for the day but were positively thrilled to return later in the day and find their home all spruced up!

“CP Nassau is so grateful to the enthusiastic team from Jovia who traveled to three of the residences we operate in Nassau County to paint and spruce things up for the individuals with disabilities who live there and the staff that assists them.  Jovia’s philosophy of working to make things brighter certainly succeeded with this project!  Not only are the walls of our home brightened up, the smiles and appreciation of all at CP Nassau could light up a room!  The generosity and caring spirit of the Jovia team continues to impress us and helps us carry out our mission at the Cerebral Palsy Association of Nassau  and we are so appreciative of everything!”

Thank you to everyone who made this happen and a big shout out to our community officer Rich who drove so much of this. We are happy we could help and demonstrate first hand how hands on we try to be when working with our partner organizations. I am glad we have been able to grow out relationship at so many levels.
