Music Therapist, Jen Green worked hard with the teachers, educational assistants and therapy departments to produce a wonderful concert! There were holiday songs in many languages including Spanish, Chinese, Hawaiian and odes to Christmas, Kwanzaa and Hannukah. Santa, the Grinch, Anna and Kristoff were also sighted at the concert! We even had our own version of the Rockettes thanks to the OT department, the Speech department presented a “beachy” holiday and the PT department created a very unique sleigh!
Students in the school were the audience on Thursday and then the performance on Friday had an auditorium filled with family members. Both days, people were singing along and dancing in their seats.
What a wonderful way to get in the holiday spirit! Thank you to all who worked so hard to make the concert special for everyone!
